Five words: Turkey Burger.  Go get one!

I've had turkey burgers from a few joints around the DFW are and NONE of them even compare.  This burger is light, juicy and phenomenally tasty!  It comes on a wheat bun with your choice of sides: french fries if you want to be naughty, corn on the cob if you want to be good... and I think they might have a chili or cole slaw substitution of some sort as well.  Even better, you get to pick and choose which toppings you want on your burger at their fixin's bar.  It's always a treat to go North to Purdy's!

Came out to meet Penny K for lunch and this is near my school and her work. I was sooo craving a hamburger and I'd never written a review for here, so we went to check it out. I had the avocado and swiss burger. I could barely taste the swiss honestly, but they hooked up the avocado! The patty was a little too salty, but the thick roll they put it on kinda helps ease the salt taste...plus I put onion and sprouts on my burger! It was pretty darn good, and their honey mustard which is definitely full-fat is tasty on there too.
The fries are alright, medium thick, but again doused in seasoning salt.
Overall if I'm in the area and craving a burger I'd go here..having good red onion and sprouts gives it an extra half star! 3.5
It was almost $7 for a burger and fries combo (small) and no drink.

Purdy's most reminds me of Frudruckers.  It's a burger joint, but they have some other selections like hot dogs, cheesesteaks, grilled chicken, etc.  They have their own condiment bar, similar to Frudruckers, with lettuce, tomatos, jalepenos, pickles, etc.

The place seems a little run down on the inside.  It was probably a nice place 10 years ago, but someone forgot to do some regular maintenance.

The food was good.  My hamburger was a little dry, but it wasn't too bad.  My wife liked it better than Frudruckers, I like Frudruckers a little bit better.. so I have to give it a 3 star to average it out.

I'd return if I were nearby, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to get there.
